Hardware Developer – Job Description
Opportunity: Simusolar is a fast growing company providing accessible, affordable and energy efficient equipment and financing. The equipment developer will join an influential organization with the potential to grow within the company as it expands within Tanzania and internationally.
Location: Headquarters-Dar Es Salaam
Reporting: This position reports directly to the General Manager of Facilities. There will also be significant exposure, interaction and collaboration with other departments, including: IT, Field Service, Credit, Human Resources, Customer Service, Operations, Sales and Finance.
Pay: compensation is a competitive salary and discretionary bonus based on performance

Duties and Responsibilities
- The hardware developer is responsible for a range of key mission areas that will give you exposure to all aspects of our functionality and technology:
- Product development support, including circuit and PCB development, hardware prototyping, measurement and testing;
- Testing and quality control of solar, battery, and communication hardware received from the manufacturer.
