Job Title: Project Manager – Business and Investment

Location: Dar Es Salaam-Tanzania

Job Summary

TICGL is looking for a Project Manager with experience in Commercial and Investment projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing business and investment projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring effective execution of business plans. This role requires a strong understanding of the business and investment environment in Tanzania, as well as the ability to develop strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and manage multiple business and investment projects simultaneously.
  • Develop and implement business and investment strategies that align with company goals.
  • Identify business opportunities and potential investments within local and regional markets.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
  • Monitor and evaluate project performance, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Provide regular reports of project progress, risks and results to senior management.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring effective communication between departments.
  • Identify and manage project risks, ensure prompt resolution of issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships with government agencies, investors, and private sector stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with internal regulations and company policies regarding business and investment practices.
    Features:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or
  2. Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  3. Proven experience in managing business and investment projects, particularly within the Tanzanian market.
  4. Strong understanding of the local and regional business environment, including emerging market trends and investment opportunities.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  7. Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  8. Strong ability to solve problems and make decisions.
    Preferred Skills:

PMP or any relevant project management certification.
Experience working with government or private sector projects in Tanzania.
Fluency in English and Kiswahili.
