We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead and manage all manufacturing operations across the company. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in operational excellence, production planning, financial management and supplier relations. This role requires someone who can drive efficiency, achieve financial goals, manage day-to-day operational activities and lead a high-performing team while aligning operations with broader company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Leadership: Lead the overall management of manufacturing and agricultural operations, ensuring that production goals are met in terms of quality and quantity.
Efficiency & Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance workflow, identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction. Implement best practices to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Production Planning and Forecasting: Develop and control production plans based on demand forecast and capacity assessment. Ensure that resources are properly allocated and timelines are met.
Financial Oversight and Budget Management: Oversee the development and implementation of budgets for all operations. Monitor financial performance, including cost and profit control and work closely with the finance team to ensure alignment with financial goals.
Supplier and Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure a consistent supply of quality materials at competitive prices. Negotiate contracts and manage supply chain risks effectively.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance. Ensure that employees are trained in best operating practices, health and safety standards, and code compliance.
Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all operations comply with industry regulations, health and safety standards and company policies. Maintain high standards of product quality control in all operations.
Reporting and Communication: Provide regular performance reports to the senior management team, highlighting key metrics, challenges and progress towards performance goals.
