TEVI MICROFINANCE COMPANY is a fast-growing microfinance institution that has been operating in Dar es Salaam for almost 5 years, we provide financial services that focus on needs aimed at empowering small businesses.
The company is currently seeking to hire a qualified, highly motivated, performance driven and experienced individual to support the growth of the quality loan book.
Key roles
- Make sales of all company products to existing and potential customers to achieve assigned goals.
- Process loan applications for group customers who meet the stated requirements and qualify.
- Conduct business, home visits and analyze creditworthiness and ability to repay an approved loan application,
- Close monitoring of the client’s performance after payment including ensuring the loan is paid on time according to the loan agreement
- Conduct close monitoring of all delinquent customers and maintain a high quality credit book within acceptable requirements
- Perform all credit operations as described in company policy, process and procedures
- Prepare all required reports daily/weekly/monthly and submit to your immediate supervisor
- Perform all duties assigned by the supervisor
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum diploma in Business Administration, Banking, Finance or any business related course.
- Good knowledge and experience of group lending activities
- The successful candidate must have worked in microfinance for at least 6 years with a strong track record particularly in group lending
- Good knowledge and ability to analyze small and medium businesses
- Excellent math and communication skills
- 3 Credit Officers at TEVI Sub-Institute
