Position: Finance Officer
Location: Nyerere Branch
WORK OBJECTIVE(S)
- Issuing money to sellers and managing them
- Accurate daily and monthly cash and ATM reconciliation
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure that customers are attended and well served within the payment timeframe.
• Ensure that policies and procedures are followed.
• Ensure accuracy and promptness for informants in carrying out their duties.
• Ensure GL accounts are verified
• Ensure maintenance of good COP balance
• Be alert to avoid fraud
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the CSM
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Error rate in transactions
Time for change in customer service
Customer delivery service index
Ensure accurate balance of vendors, ATMs and vaults on a daily basis
QUALIFICATIONS UNDER EDUCATION
• BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or related field with a second or higher minimum
PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Proven work experience as Chief Spokesperson/Financial Officer or similar role for a minimum of 3 years in a bank
ABILITY
• Extensive knowledge of financial management principles and financial markets
• Experience with financial and banking platforms
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong planning and strategizing skills
