Total Exploration and Development Uganda Limited (TEPU), CNOOC Uganda Limited (CUL) and the Government of Uganda have discovered crude oil in the Lake Albert area and want to develop and build an oil pipeline to connect production from the Kingfisher area to Buliisa-Nwoya. area crude oil is exported to the international market.
The East African Crude Oil Pipeline Project (EACOP) is part of the Lake Albert Development Project, a 1,443 km long international pipeline development project that could transport crude oil from Uganda to the Port of Tanga on the east coast of Tanzania.
The EACOP system is divided into three components, above ground installations (AGIs), pipelines and offshore storage facilities (MST). Above ground installation (AGI) consists of 6 pumping stations (PS-1 to PS-6) and 2 pressure relief stations. stations (PRS-1 and PRS-2) along the pipeline route.
The pipeline consists of 1,443 kilometers of 24-inch offshore heat pipes, connecting the Kabaale pumping station (PS-1) in Hoima region in Uganda to the reservoir in Tanga region in Tanzania. The pipeline includes all central valve chambers, electrical heat monitoring (EHT) systems, high voltage (HV) transmission and fiber optic (FO) cables and related equipment, as well as the EHT substation.
Job Description:
All field joint insulation operators (HDPE welding and PU operations) will be well aware of the field joint coating & insulation system requirements. And skilled in operating HDPE welding machine and PU foaming machine
Master and master the performance and mixing ratio to ensure product quality.
Independent skills in operation, repair and maintenance
The operator should strictly follow the repair items in the repair work procedure and complete the inspection work.
The work area should be cleaned in a timely manner, and tools and equipment should be properly stored.
Protective equipment and work protection equipment must be worn during the painting process.
Strengthen self-inspection and mutual inspection to ensure product quality meets standards.
Job Requirements:
Mechanical and chemical basis
Good English communication skills
Minimum of 3 years of painting or related work experience.
May accept nature of project work.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team and individually.
Those with experience in the oil pipeline or construction related industries are preferred.
It is flexible and adaptable- work in different places with different people
It should have a laptop, mouse and other office equipment on the first day of work.
It should be in good physical condition, without infectious diseases and other diseases.
