Troubleshooting Ring Live View Not Working

Live View is one of the best features of Ring, allowing you to view and interact with folks who approach your home. Check out these troubleshooting tips when Ring Live View isn’t working.

Check your Network

    • Verify that your internet connection is running properly.

 

    • Make sure your network name and password are entered correctly.

 

    • Check if your router or modem needs to be reset.

 

Check your Video Doorbell or Security Camera

    • Make sure your Video Doorbell is connected to your router with the included power cable.

 

    • Check your Security Camera’s power cable and make sure the light is on.

 

    • Confirm that your Device Health Indicator in your Ring app is up and running.

 

Check the Ring App

    • In the Ring app, go to your device’s setting and set the video quality to high.

 

    • Make sure that Live View is turned on for your device in the Ring app.

 

    • Check the camera health of your device in the Ring app.
