As an Account Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the Finance officer and the Finance Manager to manage all accounting and tax matters of EMEDO. Your duties will include the following…
Working closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with Tanzanian tax regulations and timely submission of tax returns.
Filing and filing of project expenditure, payment documents and other related documents
Assisting the finance team in various administrative tasks
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain accurate financial records and resolve inaccuracies
Assist with administrative tasks, such as communications, updating administrative systems and filing
Maintain organized records of financial transactions, supporting documents, and related compliance files. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address any financial questions or issues.
QUALIFICATION
- Degree / Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proven experience in accounting, particularly in regulatory compliance and revenue/payables control.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to manage work under pressure
