Geita Gold Mining Ltd (GGML) is a leading gold production company in Tanzania with one operation in Geita region. The company is a subsidiary of AngloGold Ashanti, a global gold producer headquartered in Denver, USA. AGA has operations in more than ten countries on four continents. This mine is located in the Lake Victoria Gold fields in North West Tanzania, only about 120 km from Mwanza City and 20 km South-East of Lake Victoria. The company has its main office and operations in Geita region, only 5 kilometers west of the rapidly growing city of Geita, and a subsidiary office in Dar es Salaam.
