Job Title: Medical Supply Officer

Report to: Medical facilities manager.

Job Purpose of Drug Supply Officer.
The Medical Supply Officer (Drugs) is expected to have enthusiasm, ability, self-motivation and extensive communication and persuasion skills to achieve theNgoals of the department. He will be responsible for Sales, Marketing of Medical equipment products by ensuring its standard qualities to Customers.
Responsibilities
- For all departmental activities, show excellent customer care and resolve all customer complaints / dissatisfaction within 24 hours, failure of which will be communicated to HOD Medical Supplies for further action.
- Communicate and conduct extensive lobbying to ensure TMHS obtains contracts and good relationships with Pharmaceutical customers within all types of pharmaceutical products.
- Identify, influence, Secure and Reserve companies/Organizations/Companies that TMHS can supply drugs to.
- Develop a wide network so that the company can find projects of NGOs for which TMHS will be the sole supplier of Medicines.
- Ensure the company complies with and obtains all necessary approvals/permits/registrations related to Medicines/medicine supply.
- Develop a strong network with hospitals, organizations, companies or communities so that TMHS can have patients who need home care, and finally coordinate the delivery of medicines to home patients.
- Manage all bids issued from bid requests to successful bids used.
- Prepare and submit regular departmental progress reports to HOD Medical Supply as appropriate as well as keep all departmental records and data secure.
- Manage all TMHS Pharmacies
- Ensuring that all shipments are properly made to the required standards of TMHS

Education
The job requires a Diploma in Pharmacy.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Medical Supply Officer in a well recognized facility.
You must be registered with the Tanzania Pharmacy Council.
