Job Purpose:
The successful candidate will be responsible for attending to mill operations, maintenance, supervision and ensuring company safety, health and quality procedures are followed.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all Structures are operating in specified conditions at all times during work.
- Participate in routine maintenance of the mill and all extraction pumps are operating to standard.
- Implement company safety, health, environment and quality policies and procedures and ensure compliance and corrective action.
- Participate in maintenance and repair of off-farm crops.
- Supervise Mill Cleaners and sugarcane processing machinery operations.
Job Requirements:
Form Four Certificates.
Minimum VETA Fitter mechanics 1 certificate
1 year experience in the manufacturing industry will be an added advantage
Mentally and physically sound
Creativity, creativity and team working skills.
Terms of Service: The successful candidate will be engaged on a permanent contract.
