Job Summary

The main objective is to promote Credit and Development, Deposits and the growth of alternative products in the branch. This involves the management of all Sales Activities, Support, monitoring and training of Branch Sales Officers in all relevant branches.

Job description

A. Solicit Business – Acquisition/Recruitment

Customer acquisition / recruitment
Visit the existing customer regularly
Ensure all customer access points are fully functional at all times
To improve customer experience
Identify areas / sectors suitable for business growth in their area
Identification, application, KYC and risk checks of potential customers and contact them to open accounts
Work with the Business Development Partner to establish product development appropriate for a particular region
Provide regular feedback to the Head of Customer Network about the performance of various products and services in the respective branches
Collaborate with Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) and Commercial Banking (BB) Departments to understand retail opportunities from their customers (One Bank Concept)
Handle customer inquiries related to business matters

B. Mobilization of Deposits

Fully understand business trends in the area and take advantage of growing deposits.
Manage the entire deposit promotion campaign in the branches
Actively and continuously request deposits from all the Bank’s customers in order to achieve the Bank’s deposit targets
Careful monitoring of the activities specified in the calendar of branch activities

C. Cross-selling

Marketing of all banking products – Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, Broker Banking Products, Insurance Products, All Deposit Products, Loan FX Products, Transfers, etc.
Collection of market intelligence, internal competition, product and service standards

D. Relationship Management

Drive customer engagement activities in branches
Going in contact with customers/potential customers of the Bank to gain their trust and create customer loyalty
Identify potential customers and develop strategies to add them to NBC’s customer list through informative meetings and product discussions.
Develop, build and maintain long-term relationships with all distributed customers by listening to them, sharing problems and finding common solutions.
Manage customer business communications, participate in corporate customer social events and manage all aspects of interaction, the bank has with its customers.
Business maintenance available to ensure customer performance and minimize disruption

E. Reports, Monitoring & Changes

Maintaining a database of High value customers in the branch.
Monitoring of branch business growth through KPI
Loan modification time for loans and repayment assistance
Responsible for PAR and NPL of Branch retail loans
Provide inputs and reports to Stressed Asset Management Units and facilitate recovery efforts at the Branch level

F. Teaching and Counseling

Coach and mentor the branch Sales team on a regular basis
Monitor and report performance against agreed KPIs
Other duties

Participate in branch budgeting for all Marketing related activities
Performed other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.
Prepare various reports and business proposals for management approval
Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management
3 years banking experience
Broad knowledge of banking practices (Product knowledge) and banking regulations

QUALIFICATIONS 

 

Advanced Degrees and Diplomas – Business Studies, Business and Management, Business Perspective – Limited (Meets some requirements and would need further development), Customer Excellence – Service Delivery (Meets all requirements), Digital Experience (Meets all of requirements), Effective Communication – Basic (Meets all requirements), Experience in a similar environment, Openness to change (Meets some requirements and will need further development), Product and/or Service Knowledge (Meets all requirements), Sales Management (Meets some requirements and will need further development)
