Job Purpose

The team combines internal knowledge, industry best practices and analytical thinking to create policies and strategies that allow the business to deliver industry leading results.

Job Purpose

Lead the Analytics function and take primary responsibility for ensuring that analytics/monitoring packages, MI, models, profitability and impairment measurement are properly managed, integrated to process compliance in line with policy guidelines.

Ensure Group reporting deadlines are met Manage the development of MI required by the core committees within the country Assess portfolio profitability, growth and risk on an ongoing basis Participate in forecasting and provide analysis required to make informed decisions Communicate, coordinate and provide various inputs and responses. , as required, on impairments, forecasting, MI and analytics to stakeholders Establish and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders in the business.

Key responsibilities and approximate time split

MI and Analytics Time Split: 50%

  • Manage consistent and timely delivery of analytical support to reduce losses and increase profitability through Trend Analysis, Impairment Analysis, Account Management Analysis, Profitability Analysis, Stress Testing, Fraud Analysis, Collection Strategies and loss mitigation strategies Identify opportunities to reduce losses, improve revenue by building. new rules and strategies, collection strategies, cross-selling, selling models Identify new opportunities to enhance, streamline services through the use of advanced. analytics, automation and optimization Use of statistical tools and techniques such as – forecasting, segmentation, predictive analytics etc. Evaluate projects from a business perspective and demonstrate the value added of analytics across projects and discussions.
