The Kilimanjaro region has released the Form Five Selection for year 2023/2024. A total of 18,451 students have been selected for admission to join Form Five in secondary schools across the region.
The selection is based on performance of the National Standardised Secondary Education Examinations (NSSEE) and the National Form Four Examinations (NCT) of 2023. The selection process was carried out by the Kilimanjaro Regional Examinations Registrar in Moshi, Tanzania.
The regional selection process uses the student’s marks earned during the above examinations as well as their place of valuation in choosing the students who will enter secondary schools in the Kilimanjaro region for 2023/2024. A selected student must meet the minimum pass mark for secondary school admission and must pass subjects in accordance with the National Secondary Education Curriculum and transfer policy.
The 18,451 form five students selected are from 191 primary schools from all over the Kilimanjaro region. The students will be admitted to 140 secondary schools in the Kilimanjaro region.
The chairman of the Kilimanjaro Regional Examinations Board, Mr. Wilson Mkoji, has urged parents, teachers and selection committees in the regions to continue to guide and advice students to undertake positive activities and excel in their studies.
The Kilimanjaro Regional Examinations Board has further urged selected students to take their studies seriously, adhere to instructions from their teachers, respect school regulations and prepare themselves in order to meet the national education standards and make a better future for themselves.
