Finally, stay focused and motivated and be prepared to do your best! Good luck! Namibia’s Ministry of Education, Arts, and Culture (MEAC) has released the 2023 Grade 11 Final Exam Time Table, making it available to all secondary schools in the country. All secondary schools are required to follow the MEAC’s time table closely in order to ensure equitable access to the end of year assessment for all grade 11 learners in the country.
The 2023 Grade 11 final exam will start on Monday, 3rd July 2023 and end on Wednesday, 19th July 2023. All learners are expected to arrive early on the day of the exam, dressed appropriately and with the required stationary to write the exam. As per official regulations, the duration of each exam will not exceed three hours, after which candidates must leave the exam venue immediately.
There is a designated exam timetable for both mornings and afternoons, and all grade 11 learners are expected to adhere to the respective timelines. The morning exams will commence each day at 08h00, with an uninterrupted break lasting between 11h45 and 13h15. Afternoon exams will commence each day at 13h30, with a break lasting between 16h45 and 18h15.
All grade 11 learners should have been provided a personalised exam timetable from the school by now. In the event that a learner has not received their own copy, they are to contact their respective school for a printed copy. However, all secondary schools are expected to send their learners reminders of their exam times, through the district’s school-based communication platform.
The MEAC encourages parents and guardians to support learners during the period leading up to the final exams, and provide them with sufficient revising materials. Additionally, grade 11 learners are expected to prioritise their health and wellbeing, and ensure that they get enough rest and nutrition.
The 2023 Grade 11 final exam timetable is available on the Namibia Ministry of Education, Arts, and Culture website, and parents, guardians, and educators are advised to familiarise themselves with it.
