We look forward to this welcoming news, and we are sure that it will be beneficial to the citizens of Ghana. Since its inception in 2021, the National Beneficial Company Organization (NABCO) has fought to ensure that citizens live a life of financial inclusivity. As such, its flagship Arrears Clearance Relief Program continues to provide personal and professional financial support for citizens struggling to pay their arrears. From January to December 2023, the program will provide a once-off payment of arrears payments to qualifying individuals.
The Arrears Clearance Relief Program will specifically target specific categories of citizens: graduates, persons with disabilities, single parents, households with low incomes, and elderly citizens. It is anticipated that the payments will be made available in the coming months.
For ‘eligible’ citizens, the program will provide financial assistance ranging from a maximum of GH₵12,000 to a minimum of GH₵1200. Payments will be made directly to the relevant creditors or to the assigned bank accounts of the beneficiaries. Depending on the category, the support could also extend to life and medical insurance coverage.
The program is also expected to alleviate poverty levels in the country and equip citizens with the necessary skills to successfully negotiate debt settlements. Citizens can inquire to know their eligibility take and to receive further details on the program through the NABCO website.
In conclusion, the Arrears Clearance Relief Program by the National Beneficial Company Organization is designed to help those citizens struggling with debts. This program serves as a boon for individuals and households who are financially strained and need support paying off their arrears.
